Distinguished Lecture on Sustainable Development ‘Health Equity and Sustainable Development’
Distinguished Lecture on Sustainable Development 'Health Equity and Sustainable Development' will be jointly organized by the Hong Kong Chapter of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN Hong Kong) and the CUHK Jockey Club Institute of Ageing. Professor Sir Michael Marmot, Director of the Institute of Health Equity at University College London, will deliver a lecture entitled 'Health Equity and Sustainable Development'. Professor Marmot's lecture is the first in the 'Distinguished Lecture on Sustainable Development' series, which seeks to spark ideas, dialogue and collaboration between academia, philanthropy, government, business and nonprofits to advance sustainable development on local, national and global scales. The details of the lecture are as follows:

本活動希望招募義工到老人院協助長者寫下晚晴意願，製作晚晴照顧手冊。義工可獲得津貼，補助當日車費。
Volunteers are recruited to assist the residents in the Care & Attention Home to write down the wishes and values in the ACP handbook. The volunteers will receive allowance for travelling.

中大賽馬會老年學研究所於2018年10月13日舉行了一場專題講座，邀請了王啟淞博士就＜阿茲海默病的病因及預防: 兩個個案的啟示＞為題進行演講。全場一百一十多位參加者中不少為中大校友。王博士從照顧者的身分出發，以嚴謹的科學態度，深入淺出地講解膽固醇對阿茲海默病及其他老年常見病的重要性。講座引發熱烈的討論，不少參加者表示對課題有新的理解。
